Should there be a specific day or should women be celebrated throughout the year? No matter what, Pamper Yourself On Women’s Day! Because you’re special! Why do it only on one day? Do this monthly!
And it applies for all kinds of women across the world, whether you are a student, a homemaker, corporate job holder, stay at home mom, work from home mom, or just a mother.
We all have our own challenges, and despite having them, women have to be strong, take care of the household, ensure everything runs smoothly. So we absolutely deserve to treat ourselves once a month Just make it happen all by yourself! Trust me, we have several hacks, even moms of 2-month-olds will not feel left out.
Read this, make plans, have a gala day and pamper yourself on Women’s Day:
#1 Check In a Hotel In Your City
I love checking in a hotel, I can leave it like it has been hit by a tornado and come back to find a clean, swanky hotel room. If you love it as well, do check in a hotel with or without your kid for a day. Order some room service, switch on the TV and let your hair down. I can almost feel the calm just by imagining this!
Treebo Hotels has great places to stay for much less and often there are deep discounts. Check it out here.
#2 Give Yourself A Treat
Nobody appreciates your work, nobody appreciates you at home, if that is the nagging feeling you have in your mind at the end of the day, shake it off! Give yourself a treat this time.
It can be anything, a quiet leisurely brunch or breakfast in the morning, a lunch with your girlfriends, colleagues or parents, dinner with your partner, husband or all alone, a drink at the bar or the newest microbrewery in town or just a small desert after the meal.
A big jar of chocolate chip ice cream while you watch an episode of Game Of Thrones, counts too!
#3 Be Beautiful
Pampering yourself at the salon is something most women love to do. Nothing is more relaxing than a full body spa.
If not a spa, get a new haircut, or a facial massage, a manicure or pedicure can be relaxing as well. Just a blow-dry can do magic to your looks! Remeber to relax, and feel beautiful from inside. We all know “happiest girls are the prettiest”.
#4 Buy A Gift For Yourself
Do not depend on other people to buy you things you love. Think of it, how will they know what you like? Isn’t it better to just buy it yourself? And that means you can go shopping too!
If you do not earn yourself, save money, keep a piggy bank if need be. And after months, when you open it, voila! You have that exact amount to buy jewelry, new dress, a new phone, a new laptop, a camera, a car, cosmetics.
Whatever your heart desires, give in to it, just this once and see how good it makes you feel.
#5 Go Clubbing with your girl friends
It is hard for an introvert to suggest others to go clubbing, yet it is indeed enjoyable especially in a group. Most people do love dancing, though. So, get your friends together and hit the dance floor.
Once in a while, it helps if you do things you never do at other times, so don’t forget to have a few shots of tequila, that truly improves your moves and gets you grooving!
#6 Go On A Long Drive
For early risers it is easy, you can do it early in the morning, catch the sun rising somewhere out of the city maybe, or else go after dinner at night. If you are not driving yourself get hold of a friend who can not just drive, but is as enthusiastic as you about the drive. A breath of fresh air is always rejuvenating.
#7 Watch A Chick Flick
A chick flick is the best thing after a hectic day! Most women will agree, I am sure! So switch on the TV and find one that is about to start and grab some popcorn. You are all set.
#8 Take A Nap
That is literally impossible for those who work, or young mothers. Do yourself a favor, switch off the phone, laptop, TV, all electronic devices and take a nap!
A siesta, right in the middle of the day, even if you have a hell lot of work to do.
#9 Experience The Joy Of Giving
Yes, I know what you are thinking, giving someone else won’t be pampering your own self. Guess what, you will be pampering your soul. Giving others what you have and they don’t, not just makes you realize how privileged you are but also has a feel-good factor to it.
#10 Make Time For Yourself
In our crazy schedules we remember to make time for everyone but often don’t have time for ourselves. Time, they say is the ultimate luxury. This Woman’s Day make some time for yourself. Do what you love, whether it is cooking, reading a book, discussing your future with someone or just contemplating about life with hot cuppa!
