2. Boat Ride in Bhedaghat

It is a 22 km boat ride from the Panchvati Ghat to Bhedaghat. This long voyage is worth it due to the Marble rock formations, found along the river. 3. Explore the Madan Mahal Fort
Madan Mahal Fort in Jabalpur was built by a Gond ruler, Raja Madan Shah in 1116 CE. As the centre of the Gondwana rule, Jabalpur is peppered with such remnants from history. 4. Witness the fascinating Balancing Rock
The Balancing Rock is located at the base of the Madan Mahal Fort. A treacherous trail is first needed to be crossed to reach the location. 5. Revel in the devotion at Chausath Yogini Temple
The Chausath Yogini Temple is one of the oldest structures in Jabalpur. It was built in the Kalachuri Dynasty around the 10th century CE and since then has seen many dynasties including the present times. The most revered of sites in Jabaplur, thousands throng to its holy gates to get a sense of the divine. An astounding 150 stairs need to be climbed to reach the temple. Here you can witness the architecture influenced by the Yoga Tantric system of beliefs. The temple has the idols of Shiva and Parvati atop their vehicle, Nandi, the cow in its sanctum.

8. Visit the Pisanhari Ki Mandiya
