Thrissur Pooram Festival is an annual Hindu festival celebrated in Vadakkanathar Temple in the beautiful city of Thrissur in Kerala. Pooram day – which is believed to the day when the moon rises with the Pooram star as per the Malayalam calendar is considered auspicious and grand celebrations are organised all over the city.
